About Tse C. Awasom

Tse C. Awasom writes at the crossing point of ancestry, history, and lived experience. His work moves between the Mankon Grassfields of Cameroon and the Missouri–Kansas borderlands, treating both places not as separate stories but as one continuous river of memory. He carries oral tradition onto the modern page, blending ancestral voices, clan histories, and spiritual cosmology with frontier-era struggle, abolitionist politics, and contemporary diaspora life.

I want to tell stories where history breathes through ordinary people—stories of Mankon memory, crossings, exile, struggle, and redemption. I write about fractured lives that keep standing, ancestors who guide the living, and communities that survive against silence. Above all, I tell stories that protect a people’s truth from being forgotten.
